Due to heavy wind today, Sunday 22 November 2015, SEA WORKER came loose from her moorings in the Harbour of Grenaa, Denmark.

SEA WORKER drifted and collided with the ferry Stena Nautica, also moored in the harbour. SEA WORKER was secured by lowering the legs into the seabed and a tug boat was immediately send for. The plan is to remove the rig from the side of the ferry this evening.

“The situation is under control and most importantly, the incident has caused no personal injuries,” says Jens Frederik Hansen, CEO in A2SEA.

An internal investigation will be issued in A2SEA on Monday morning, wherefore we have no further comments for the time being.
