Would you like to work with financial, project and business controlling in an international company?

To strengthen our controlling team, we are searching for a Junior Controller with the desire to develop in an international environment.

A broad range of controlling tasks

As part of the large Belgian GeoSea/DEME Group, the finance department of A2SEA is working closely together with the head office in Antwerp. This means that your colleagues in the controlling team will be both Danish and Belgian. Together with three finance colleagues you will be based in Fredericia, but can expect to spend 10-20 days per year at the Belgian head office.

Your primary tasks are:

  • Controlling of current wind turbine installation projects, including control of sales calculations and contracts as well as calculation of completion rates, revenues etc.
  • Controlling of vessel and department budgets
  • Preparation of financial analyses and various specific reportings
  • Participation in running reporting to the Management and owners
  • Participation in preparation and follow-up of budgets and forecasts
  • Participation in preparation of annual accounts and tax accounts
  • Ad-hoc tasks such as various accounting requests and development of IT tools

Your qualifications

You have a relevant education in economics on bachelor or master level, preferably with experience from a larger audit company. Besides being sharp on figures, we expect that you can see beyond the figures and evaluate from a business perspective. You are analytical, think in new systems and initiatives and thrive with new challenges.

At the same time you have good collaborative and communicative skills at all levels, as you will act as sparring partner for managers and project managers across the organisation. Your respect for the ideas and input from your colleagues creates confidence and makes you liked among your colleagues.

You will work rather independently, so it is important that you take initiative and have a large drive and committment. Our world is rather dynamic, requiring you to be ready for change, versatile and willing to take on any ad-hoc tasks landing on your desk.

The company language is English, which you need to speak and write fluently.

We offer an attractive package

You will get an exciting job in an innovative growth company characterised by professionalism, team work and freedom of responsibility. You will be working in close cooperation with dedicated colleagues across the organisation in a dynamic, informal atmosphere. A2SEA and the DEME Group offers a variety of opportunities to develop your career in a competitive multinational environment in Denmark, Belgium and other countries. You will be offered high-quality education and training opportunities as well as competitive salary and benefits.
