Leading edge technology introduced into the harsh offshore environment will occasionally experience faults that may require replacement or repair.  Replacing major components such as blades, generators or gearboxes generally requires the use of a crane vessel and A2SEA’s self-propelled, shallow drafted vessels are ideal for this work.
 
With contractual flexibility allowing customers to choose between dedicated one-off repairs, 'fly-by' maintenance visits or longer term framework agreements, A2SEA has performed around 75% of all offshore repairs requiring crane vessel or jack-up intervention.
 

A2SEA can even deliver the crane vessel with skilled wind turbine technicians, either to manage the entire operation or as support to the site-based staff during maintenance campaigns.
