At A2SEA we are specialized in installing offshore wind parks. We are busy and therefore we are constantly looking for crane operators for good jobs.
The right candidate
We offer great challenges and therefore we also require a lot from our candidates. Minimum requirements are:
- As a minimum you have a crane B-certificate for mobile crane
- You have experience with big cranes and heavy-lift
- You have focus on safety
If you have experience with offshore cranes this would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
In addition to the above you must have some insight in the technical functions and construction of the crane, and a natural interest for maintenance and service. A possible background could be craftsman, mechanic, smith or the like.
In the job as Lifting Supervisor you must have been a crane operator for some years and have experience with being in charge of lifting operations. You must be able to communicate in spoken and written English.
It will be an advantage if you have tried to work offshore, in the maritime industry or the like, as you will have to be away from family and friends for periods of time. A good humour and a positive attitude to life are important qualities, and you will have to bear in mind your own and your colleagues’ safety, and finally you must be ready to enter a team that has to function 24 hrs/seven days a week.
