Our history

Since the company's establishment in the year 2000 A2SEA has developed from a one-man entrepreneurial company based on personal drive and individual, first-hand solutions to a market leading, professional company. Our experienced employees plan and execute all projects using thoroughly tested and documented systems and strive to achieve the highest standards of safety. 
 

A2SEA has accordingly developed from a first mover in the offshore wind installation business into the leading company with the longest track record, the largest capacity and the most experienced knowledge base in the industry.
 

Recognitions

Through the short history of our company we have received a number of recognitions, e.g. "the Janteknuser" award (2002, Kurt Thomsen) and the Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award (also 2002).

In September 2010, A2SEA was awarded Gazelle company, A2SEA came in 2nd in the Triangle Region at this year's Gazelle award. In total there were around 1000 Gazelle companies in DK in 2010 of which the 47 were from the Triangle region.
