Leading edge technology introduced into the harsh offshore environment will occasionally experience faults that may require replacement or repair.  Replacing major components such as blades, generators or gear boxes generally requires the use of a crane vessel and A2SEA’s self propelled, shallow drafted vessels have proved to be ideal for this work.

With contractual flexibility allowing customers to choose between dedicated one-off repairs, 'fly-by' maintenance visits or longer term framework agreements, A2SEA has been asked to perform around 90% of all offshore repairs requiring crane ship intervention.
